銷售訓練的重要

多數人都會認為任何一項工作,在職業生涯中,無論職位高低,都應該經常接受訓練。
在多數的銷售員職業生涯中,尤其是必須持續進行。無論你的銷售訓練是以產品知識或是產業知識,或是改進銷售技巧為主的訓練課程,你很難找到一份不要求不參與銷售訓練的銷售工作。
新手訓練
如果你剛踏進銷售員的世界你的訓練內容會比較多在教導你多認識產品和服務多了解產業與競爭者這些成為你的基礎銷售技能
當你成為產業的專家,你對競爭對手的強處與弱處都很清楚時,你的客戶就會認為你對於相關主題確實是專家。客戶愈是承認你的專業,你愈有機會獲得訂單。
相反的,如果你未參加銷售訓練,或是你不重視銷售訓練,你的競爭對手就會被客戶視為專家,而奪走你應該獲得的訂單。
參加訓練課程之外
如果你已經不是銷售新手,要成為真正銷售高手的關鍵,不在於你參加多少訓練課程,而在於你做了多少自我培訓”? 有許多種自我培訓的做法,包含閱讀上百、上千種書本,或是看視頻課程,或是邀請導師教練提供個人指導。或是如我個人的做法,勤于整理筆記,并寫作為文章,如此可以整理成為知識系統。
進行個人培訓的最大好處是可以符合你確實的興趣、需要或是目的,而你的老闆所安排的訓練教育計劃通常是你的銷售團隊中每個人都必須知道的產業與產品知識。最有效的做法是將你的時間最大化的分配在個人化的培訓或是參加老闆安排的課程上,讓你為經過最多訓練的銷售專家。
訓練品質不佳時
參加了許多的銷售訓練,你難免會發現有些課程內容不管用,或是品質不佳。無論是你老闆安排的課程,或是你所閱讀的某本書,或加的講座,妳發現是沒有價值的。然而,作為一名銷售高手,你有責任從你所參加的訓練中發現至少一項能夠改進你的業績的銷售技能。
要做到如此,並不容易。這要有相當的創意思想,才能發現哪些內容是有價值的,而哪些是沒有價值的? 通常真正的價值要到整套訓練結束后,才能顯現出來。你必須了解訓練可能不能在短時間內看到功效,而需要在長時間后才能展現,可能要數周、數月,甚至是幾年後。
將訓練內容應用在實際戰場上
即使你參加了世界上最有用的銷售訓練課程,閱讀了最能激勵人心的書,或是參加了最時尚的活動,但是你沒有將它應用在你的銷售工作上,你就只是浪費了你的時間。
無論你學習到了什麼好概念,最好的成果是將它們應用到你日常的銷售活動中。除非你所參加的訓練課程是你老闆精心設計的,最好的訓練課程都是可以普遍應用在任何產業的。你應該做的,就是將你在完成所有訓練課程后,提煉出所有的建議,融入在你的銷售工作中。

The Importance of Sales Training
Most people will think that any job, regardless of the position, should be trained regularly in the career.
In most salesmen's careers, it must be continued. Whether your sales training is based on product knowledge or industry knowledge, or on improving sales skills, it is difficult to find a sales job that does not require participation in sales training.
Novice training
If you have just stepped into the world of salesmen, your training will teach you more about products and services, industry and competitors. These become your basic sales skills.
When you become an industry expert and you know the strengths and weaknesses of your competitors, your customers will think that you are really an expert on related topics. The more customers acknowledge your profession, the more chances you will get an order.
On the contrary, if you don't participate in sales training, or if you don't pay attention to sales training, your competitors will be regarded as experts by customers and take away the orders you deserve.
Beyond training courses
If you are no longer a novice salesman, the key to becoming a real salesman is not how many training courses you attend, but how many "self-training" you do. There are many ways of self-training, including reading hundreds or thousands of books, watching videos, or inviting tutors and coaches to provide personal guidance. Or as I do personally, I am diligent in organizing notes and writing articles, so that I can organize into a knowledge system.
The greatest benefit of personal training is that it meets your real interests, needs or goals, and your boss's training and education programs are usually industry and product knowledge that everyone in your sales team must know. The most effective way is to maximize your time allocation to personalized training or to attend courses arranged by your boss so that you can be the most trained sales specialist.
When the training quality is not good
After attending a lot of sales training, you will inevitably find that some of the courses are ineffective or of poor quality. Whether it's a course arranged by your boss, a book you read, or a lecture you add, you find it worthless. However, as a sales expert, it is your responsibility to find at least one sales skill that can improve your performance from the training you have attended.
It is not easy to do so. This requires considerable creativity to discover what is valuable and what is not? Usually the real value will not be revealed until the end of the training package. You have to understand that training may not be effective in a short time, but it may take weeks, months, or even years to show up.
Application of training content in actual battlefield
Even if you attend the most useful sales training courses in the world, read the most inspiring books, or take part in the most fashionable activities, but you don't apply it to your sales work, you just waste your time.
Whatever good concepts you learn, the best result is to apply them to your daily sales activities. Unless the training courses you attend are carefully designed by your employer, the best training courses can be widely applied in any industry. What you should do is to refine all the suggestions after you have completed all the training courses and integrate them into your sales work.
